Furwell ("we", "our", "the app") is built with a privacy-first approach. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data Storage

All pet health data you enter (profiles, health records, medications, check-ins, symptoms, weight, expenses) is stored locally on your device and synced via Apple iCloud if you have iCloud enabled. We do not operate our own servers for storing your pet data.

What We Collect

Furwell collects the minimum data necessary to function:

• Pet health data: Stored locally and in your iCloud account. We never have access to this data.
• Subscription status: Managed by RevenueCat on behalf of Apple. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID to manage your subscription. No personal information is shared.
• AI Triage queries: When you use the AI symptom triage feature, your symptom description is sent to our AI processing service to generate an assessment. These queries are not stored or linked to your identity.
• Anonymous product analytics: We collect limited usage events (such as first opens, app opens, pet creation, paywall views, purchase attempts, and subscription lifecycle events) to understand how Furwell is used and improve the app. This analytics data is associated with an anonymous app identifier, not your name or email.
• Apple Search Ads attribution: If you install Furwell from an Apple Search Ads campaign, Apple may provide anonymous campaign metadata such as campaign, ad group, keyword, and conversion identifiers. We use this only to measure campaign effectiveness. We do not use ATT, IDFA, or cross-app tracking.

What We Don't Collect

• No email addresses or personal accounts
• No precise location data
• No ATT prompts or IDFA-based tracking
• No cross-app tracking or third-party advertising identifiers

Third-Party Services

• Apple iCloud: For data sync between your devices. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Apple AdServices: Provides anonymous Apple Search Ads attribution data when available. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat: For subscription management. Receives only an anonymous user identifier. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• AI Service: Symptom descriptions are processed to provide triage assessments. No personal or identifying information is sent.
• PostHog: Used for anonymous product analytics to help us understand app usage and improve Furwell. See PostHog's Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

Furwell is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data Deletion

Since your data is stored on your device and iCloud, you can delete it at any time by:

• Deleting pets or records within the app
• Deleting the app from your device
• Removing Furwell data from iCloud via Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
